5. Warm Grenadian Hospitality Our guests often say it’s the people who make their stay truly memorable. From the warm smiles at reception to the attentive service at the restaurant, our team takes pride in making you feel at home.
There are so many nice things to say about the staff and all the little things they did to make our stay a memorable one. We were able to meet and talk at length to many staff members and they really made us feel welcome. We had a difficult time saying goodbye to everyone as it was like leaving family. I cant say enough nice things about Petite Anse.

The Sunday-morning guided walk including both hotel guests and local residents is not to be missed and is followed by a delicious barbecue lunch in the open-air restaurant. Highly recommended for those wanting to experience the wilder north coast of this small island.

7. Sandy Island Adventures One of the highlights of staying at Petite Anse is the chance to take a boat trip to Sandy Island. Enjoy snorkelling, a picnic lunch with freshly grilled fish, and hours of exploring this uninhabited tropical paradise.
Our final excursion was to sandy island, this is a must. The hotel provides you with food and beer for a picnic, transportation to the pier at sauters, a local fisherman takes you to the uninhabited island. We had the whole island to ourselves and had a lunch of fresh caught grilled fish. We snorkeled and explored for hours. If you grew up in the UK or Ireland in the 80s it’s where the bounty chocolate ads were filmed. Truly unspoiled Caribbean paradise.

8. Eco-Friendly Efforts We’re committed to keeping our environmental footprint light. From using solar panels to sourcing local produce, we’re proud to support sustainability and Grenada’s vibrant community.
Our comfortable oceanview cabin was set snugly into the hillside, affording views of the pelicans and frigatebirds overhead and the Grenadine islands in the distance. This hotel is located in an area of Grenada known both for its seabirds and sea turtles. We greatly appreciated how the owners are trying to keep their environmental footprint light, including the use of solar panels.

9. Off-the-Beaten-Path Tranquility Petite Anse’s remote location is part of its charm. If you’re seeking peace and quiet, this is the place to unplug and recharge while surrounded by natural beauty.

10. The Perfect Base for Exploring the North Coast Petite Anse is ideally situated for discovering Grenada’s less-explored gems. Nearby attractions include Levera National Park, River Antoine Rum Distillery, and Bathway Beach. Whether you’re hiking, snorkelling, or taking in the sights, there’s so much to see and do.
We enjoyed a great morning tour (arranged by the hotel) of the River Rum distillery (an absolute must) and the Grenada Chocolate Factory, our local guide also took us to Lake Antoine and Levara Beach and was very informative. It does take around an hour and a half to get there from St Georges but we took the coast road north on arrival then the road through the Etang forest park south so we had a change in scenery.
